Fun with bureaucracy

So yesterday I was walking back to my office after training at the main office.Walking along a perfectly normal footpath my ankle suddenly folded on me as it sometimes does and I pitched forward onto the ground. Fortunately I was on the footpath rather than the major road I had just crossed. A kind lady pulled over and drove me the very short distance left to my office as I could barely hobble and it would have taken ages (and hurt a lot).

Once back at my desk (after a colleague saw me hobble out of the lift and firmly ordered me to sit down on a chair with wheels and pushed me to my desk) I was advised to fill in an Injury report as I was travelling between one place of work and another. The form was online and so when it insisted that an answer was mandatory there was no way to leave it blank. My input therefore included the following:
What activity where you undertaking at the time? Walking
Have you been trained in this activity? Not applicable
How many years have you been undertaking this activity? As I am now almost 41 I decided that I had probably been doing it for around 40 years
It then demanded the number of months - I put down 0
What agency was involved in the incident? I presume that this is designed for incidents such as cutting yourself with a knife or tripping due to something being left in the way. After I tried to leave it blank and it arced up I put down the agency as being a footpath. That will show that vicious pedestrian aid.

I had to laugh at it as I could only put stupid answers as it didn't allow me any leeway to say that this wasn't relevant.

Anyway, I now have an ankle with an impressive amount of swelling, a close relationship with an icepack, strapping, hired crutches and a toddler I can't carry anywhere. Makes life interesting.
